Where Connor and JT Go Fun The Return of the Garden Thief

The Return of the Garden Thief

If you read my post before on the tomato thief you might know what I’m talking about but if not you can read it now here.

Besides stealing JT’s tomatoes, the garden thief has also taken a lime and eaten the celery.

I took that picture a while back but I hadn’t really written anymore about the garden. One of the two limes in the picture is one that was taken. I’m not sure what could have taken the lime because it’s pretty high up but it was picked off the tree.

Moving on to the celery…I read that you can grow celery from the base of another celery so we decided to try it. You just cut the base a celery stalk and put in water and put it somewhere it can get some sunlight.

We kept the celery inside for about 3 weeks and then planted it outside.

Here is the celery just after it was planted in the ground.

I had been waiting to plant it outside because I was afraid that it would get eaten and sure enough after 3 days of being outside this is what it looked like:

The day after that it was completely gone. The good thing is that the celery was super easy to grow so we can just grow another one. We will also be trying to grow a pineapple plant.
