**My Review**

I found Whispers of Trees to be a bit different from what I was expecting. The first chapter starts off a bit eerily as we meet Declan and his family and learn that his little brother Colin is missing somewhere in an ancient Irish forest filled with large and twisting trees.
The story is told from Declan’s perspective and we join him on his journey to not only find his brother but find out about himself as well.
The book is a quick and interesting read. What really intrigued me about Whispers of Trees was the stories and legends about the trees. The book serves as a great reminder that we should respect the forest and all living things. I think that from time to time we should all remember to listen to the whispers of the trees.

**Connor Says**

“I like it. It was interesting. The pictures of the trees were cool because I saw their faces. I didn’t like that Declan didn’t like his little brother. I love my little brother. I liked the ending because I learned about Mrs. O’Leary and I wonder if Declan’s mom knew her.”

  1. Thank you for sharing your thought about Whispers of Trees. I thought the eerie forest and whispering trees were intriguing as well. I’m so happy Connor liked the book too and that he’s a much nicer older brother than Declan. Thanks for being a part of the tour.
