Santa Land Lubbock

I had no idea what to expect when we headed over to Santa Land in Lubbock for our 8th Texas Christmas tour stop. The description stated that it was a festive holiday village with animated displays and holiday scenes but I couldn’t find any pictures so I really wasn’t sure what it was going to be like.

We drove over to Mackenzie Park where Santa Land has been held for over 60 years. We managed to find a really good parking close to the entrance. We walked up to the Santa Land sign and we still weren’t sure what we were going to find. What we ended up finding were lots of cute Christmas displays. We saw displays with Mickey Mouse and friends, Star Wars, Monsters University, Peter Pan, Minions, the Grinch, Disney Princesses, Marvel and DC Superheroes, Winnie the Pooh, the Lion King, and more.

There was also a nativity scene as well and a very tall Christmas tree right in the center. You could also take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus but it was way too cold for us to wait in line for that. We all had on two jackets and gloves and we were still cold so we sped through the entire thing. There were bonfires placed throughout but Connor didn’t like the smoke from those so they didn’t really help us much.

Here is the nativity and bonfire along with the full Peter Pan display because I really liked this.

We probably spent about 15 minutes here because we were so cold but we loved it. All of the displays were super cute and we still had fun even though we were speeding through everything.
