New Texas Faves at Willie’s Grill & Icehouse
Last week the boys and I got the chance to try out the new Willie’s Texas Faves menu at Willie’s Grill and Icehouse.
There are three items on the Texas Faves menu. The first of the items is the Icehouse Cobb Salad. The salad is a mix of spring, iceberg, and romaine lettuce and is topped with fried chicken, egg, corn, cherry tomatoes, gorgonzola, bacon, ranch, and a creamy chipotle sauce.
The next item on the menu is the Cheddar Pepper Burger. The burger has a roasted pepper cheese mix and caramelized onions and is served in a jalapeño cheddar bun.
The last item is the Texas Fried Chicken Club. The sandwich is served on Texas Toast with a roasted pepper cheese mix, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a roasted jalapeño mayo.
All of the items on Willie’s Texas Faves menu were really good. My favorite was the Texas Fried Chicken Club. The boys really enjoyed the salad but thought the other two were too spicy. JT usually likes spicy foods so I was surprised he thought it was too spicy because I didn’t find the burger or club sandwich very spicy.
Besides the items on the Texas Faves menu, we also got to try out the Bourbon Bread Pudding. Connor is a fan of bread pudding so he really liked this.
Willie’s Grill and Icehouse has locations in and around San Antonio and Houston.
