Landa Gardens is one of my favorite parks in San Antonio. It is such a pretty and peaceful park.
Landa Gardens is home to the Landa Library. That’s how I discovered the park in the first place. I was looking for a library for JT and I to go to that was close to the San Antonio Academy where Connor was taking a class and we found this one.
The grounds surrounding the library are peaceful and offer plenty of room of to play. The boys enjoyed running around and playing tag.
Landa Gardens also has two play structures and a swing set. One of the play structures is meant for younger kids and the other for older ones.
The park also offers plenty of benches to sit down as well as a really cool pavilion that looks like trees.
Also on the grounds there is an area with a little log cabin.
There is also a garden but I didn’t take any pictures the last time we went and I couldn’t find any from before. Another thing worth mentioning is that all around the grounds there are little stone plaques shaped like books and each one has a different book written on it and the name of the donator. I think they are a cute addition to park. I thought I took pictures of a few of them but I can’t find them. I do have one picture that shows one though.
Here’s a few more pictures I found on my Instagram from when JT and I first discovered the park.
If you haven’t visited this park yet you definitely should. Landa Gardens and Library is located in the Monte Vista historic district. The website hasn’t been updated in awhile but you can take a look at it for the address if you’d like to visit.
